MFW is a business services firm providing a proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS), as well as LTL and TL Brokerage Services, to manufacturing companies, third party logistics managers (3PLs), and transportation intermediaries of all types and sizes. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, MFW is strategically positioned to service customers across the United States and Canada.
Leveraging its cloud-based software platform, MFW provides its customers with applications to reduce costs and improve all areas of freight management. Our TMS allows customers to optimize carrier selection and query their shipments to provide complete visibility for shippers, consignees, and other interested parties during the entire shipment life cycle. The system provides information on all aspects of the load, such as real time location, estimated time of arrival, shipping documents, and carrier & customer invoices. It can be deployed as web applications or integrated into a client’s enterprise system through web services (SOA). Currently, more than 20,000 users around the globe access the MFW system.
MFW knows the demands of today’s freight transportation marketplace extend beyond technology. For more than 16 years, MFW’s world-class customer support has supplied operational support services and expertise to manufacturers, 3PLs, freight brokers, and others in the supply chain management sector. MFW’s core competencies include outsourcing of administrative support, efficient RFP/bid management for less-than-truckload and truckload transportation, and carrier network development. MFW also offers a premier portfolio of its own contracted carriers for use by clients either wishing to supplement their own rates or prefer not to negotiate their own service contracts. MFW’s carrier portfolio encompasses all freight modes & geographies, and features extremely competitive rates and the highest quality of services provided.
