WHAT HAPPENED 15 YEARS AGO THIS WEEK, AND WHY TRUCKING PROS MIGHT BE INTRIGUED
Senior leadership at both Blackberry and Microsoft laughed it off, each making derogatory comments.
The very idea broke from convention, asking users to make stunning behavioral changes with how a device like this could even function, not to mention perform.
Even the creating company’s design and development teams never saw the massive and significant cultural shift coming as a result of their invention. A decade and a half later, it’s so mind-blowing no one could have predicted it.
Without further ado: Happy Birthday, iPhone!
And while we at #mfw do not presume to be 100% Apple-like (who is, after all?), we DO believe that we’re trying to change our industry for the better – asking decision-makers who ship essential and high value cargo to “look beyond the quote” and really “see” what they’re paying for.
In other words, to strongly consider the actual value they’re receiving from their freight broker for their hard-earned money.
