Self-driving companies (TuSimple, Aurora Innovation) and electric vehicle companies (Rivian, Tesla) are seeing a boom in the stock market lately. Self-driving trucks are going to be here some day, but how soon? Reasonable minds have drastically different opinions on when they’ll truly be a meaningful addition to trucking capacity.
