WHAT’S WORSE THAN RISING TRANSPORTATION COSTS? You’re a transportation professional working your *ss off every day trying to do everything in your power to contain costs at a time when inflation is the “business boogeyman” come to life. At a minimum, this is what YOUR customers expect from you – being a trustworthy, caring steward of THEIR money. ** But what could be worse for your customer than having to swallow ever-rising costs, despite your best efforts to keep them in check? For a moment, imagine some of your customers saying the following (because from what we hear, this is actually happening): “Hey, supplier. Not only am I paying through the nose for transportation costs, my stuff arrived a day late, a portion of the freight was damaged, the driver and your 3PL were rude to my people, and nobody really seemed to care! And I’m actually PAYING for this kind of treatment?” QUESTION: Would you invest a little more to ensure that this doesn’t happen to you?
