The Institute for Supply Management just announced that February reported SOLID manufacturing output. New orders (the engine that drives manufacturing) saw a 3.8% increase from January. This was the 21st CONSECUTIVE month of growth for manufacturing output. What does this mean for our manufacturing friends out there? For one, we hope it means that you are continuing to see success! High transportation costs and shipping delays have been a huge story the last 18 months. What hasn’t been as big a story is the RECORD manufacturing being done in the US. While it’s led to high transportation costs and some supply chain chaos, as a whole it’s objectively a good thing! So, if you are contributing to the manufacturing boom we are currently in, WELL DONE and keep up the great work. |
