SOMETIMES IT’S WHAT YOU * DON’T * SEE THAT DESERVES YOUR ATTENTION Shipper: “I really need better service from my freight broker. I’m spending way too much of my valuable time managing this process when they’re supposed to.” This transportation professional then goes to the web to see what’s available. Here’s what she finds on various broker / logistics company websites: 🚚 “Get a quote” (omnipresent, because – you know – service is all about ‘lowest price’ 😩) 🚚 “Ship more, Save more! Discounts!” (double 😩) 🚚 “Your Number One solutions provider” (what does that mean, exactly? 🤔) 🚚 “LTL. Truckload. Temperature-controlled. Expedited. International. We do it all! ( 🤪 )” What she DOESN’T see: 👉 “Our response time to your inquiries is measured in minutes, not hours or days.” 👉 “We obsess over qualifying carrier-partners & holding them accountable to the highest standards” 👉 “On-time pickup and delivery – and other key performance information – at your fingertips” 👉 “We take our laptops home. Our competitors don’t.” 👉 “No surprises. If you hear about a problem first, then we’ve failed.” Ask yourself WHY you’re not seeing these customer service / CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE-related elements.
