(IN OFFICE ROLE)
Summary:
We are looking for a talented, driven individual to learn about the transportation industry and play a key role in several of our key Finance processes. This individual needs to be detail oriented, hardworking, reliable, and able to think outside the box and strive to help the Company improve the efficiency of the Finance Department.

We provide logistics solutions for various customers, ranging from large national companies to smaller independent businesses. Duties
- Preparation and analysis of Cost Accounting of units of the business
- Financial Analysis of weekly and monthly results, reviewing Key Performance Indicators
- Accounts Payable – audit of invoices, remittance and application of payments
- Accounts Receivable – payment application and effective communication with customers
- Journalize transactions in accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Research credit ratings and references of prospective customers to determine creditworthiness
- Assist with reconciliation of GL accounts for month-end close
Projects – Assist with:
- Automation of AP process utilizing Transportation, Accounting, and AP software
- Automation of vendor invoice auditing and documentation retrieval
Desired Range of Experience: 2– 5 years of experience
- Finance, Accounting, or other business degree preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Self-starter, self-motivated, strong desire to learn new skills and think critically
- Ability to learn/navigate various software and systems
