Container Freight

  • In February 2024, U.S. container import volumes dipped by 6.0% compared to January 2024, totaling 2,137,724 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
    • This represents a 23.3% increase compared to 2023.
  • Container import volume at the top 10 U.S. ports experienced a 7% decrease month-over-month.
  • Chinese imports in January also experienced a notable decline, dropping by 10.6% compared to the previous year.
  • Despite the continuous capacity challenges at the Panama Canal, the volume at Gulf Coast ports has maintained a consistent level.

Logistics Manager Index

  • Key highlights:

Trucking Tonnage
